Can you speak techno-babble and english?
We are looking for grade-A computer geeks to assist our business customers with their technology needs. These needs encompass all IT support functions including training, server setup, cloud management, and network setup & maintenance. Our work is done primarily on-site but does include remote support and telephone support (for our customer help desk). We are looking for outgoing individuals who can speak both techno-babble to other technicians and plain English to our customers.
All positions require varying levels of knowledge of:
- Windows desktop & server environments
- Business networks (TCP/IP, switches, routers, firewalls)
- End-user equipment (smartphones, tablets)
- Network and telephone cabling
- Business e-mail systems
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills along with problem-solving skills are also required.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange Server, UNIX computer systems, RAID systems, smartphones, routers, printers, and databases is preferred.
