We close our newsletter with a special Employee spotlight highlighting the efforts of our in-house robotic cleaning crew. This team faithfully helps us keep the office clean and only occasionally sets off the burglar alarms when having shoving matches with the office chairs.
In the past there were some inter-office struggles between the Roomba crew and the office fax machine that dangled cables on the ground; eventually, the Roomba squad persevered, and the fax machine has now gone into retirement helping to improve office moral.
Despite their great treatment and regular grooming by the Wingman Staff, occasionally they get a little ornery and steal screws and scooby snacks left out by employees.
Although they are normally found inside the office, occasionally they escape and are known to wander through the building looking for new friends.
We introduce you to the Roomba iRobot vacuums: Sharkbait, Gil, Bubbles, and Jacques, along with desk vacuum: Nemo.
Although the crew is divided by two different levels within the office, Jacques, who resides upstairs, frequently tries to join his companions downstairs. Once or twice a week, he can be found pining for his basement dwelling friends at the edge of the stairs; sadly, he is afraid of heights. However, he is not alone, he has Nemo the desk vacuum cleaner to keep him company.
Sharkbait and the kneeling chair in the bench room are engaged in a not-so-secret love affair. Their weekly trysts have become quite the office gossip as other employees have found them entangled upon arriving for work in the morning. Staff must separate the smitten office equipment until the two are able to reunite when the office is closed.
Gil and Bubbles toe the company line on a regular basis, knowing their place (and charging stations) causing very few issues. We can always count on their reliable cleaning to keep our business in tip top shape.
Thank you for all that you do, vacuums; we really appreciate how much you guys suck at your jobs!
